The idea

A chat, an app's saved memory, and model training are different things. A correction can guide later replies while it remains in context. An app may save a note for later use. Training changes the model's stored numbers. Do not assume one does the work of another.

What to check

For a long task, keep a short handover. State the goal, the source versions, what has been checked, and what remains open. Keep proposed facts separate from verified facts. Store that note where the next session can read it.

When you resume, ask the tool to identify the source versions and the next step. Check its answer before relying on old work.

Try it

A new session says it remembers that an offer was accepted. Your note says acceptance is disputed. Which should guide the next step?

Check your understanding

Return to the source and the unresolved issue. A claimed memory does not settle the fact. Update the handover only after checking the record.
